A Legacy of Flavor
The story of Poco Deli began in the kitchen of Joy and Sonny de Leon, who shared their love of Spanish and Italian family recipes with their children, neighbors, and friends. Inspired by their travels and cultural experiences, the duo brought their vision to life in 2008, opening the first Poco Deli along East Capitol Drive.
Its name, suggested by an Italian wine supplier who called their cozy spot “Un poco deli,” perfectly captured the warmth and intimacy of the space.
From humble beginnings, Poco Deli has grown into an award-winning destination with five locations across Metro Manila, Boracay, and Coron. Despite this growth, the heart of the deli remains the same: dishes crafted with care, quality ingredients, and techniques like slow-cooking and wood-smoking that honor tradition.
A Menu That Speaks Volumes
Poco Deli’s menu is a love letter to both heritage and innovation. Signature items like the New York Pastrami sandwich pay homage to classic favorites, while Mom’s Pot Roast delivers the comfort of a family dinner.
For the meat enthusiast, the Sausage Sampler and Bacon Slab are expertly prepared and smoked to perfection, offering a satisfying richness with every bite. Pastas, pizzas, and hearty mains like The Carnivore ensure there’s something for everyone, and decadent desserts, from the Blackout Chocolate Cake to the Rainbow Cake, round out the experience beautifully.
A Cozy, Welcoming Space
Every Poco Deli location reflects the founders’ journeys, decorated with vintage kitchenware and touches inspired by their travels. The warm lighting, inviting tables, and open layout create a perfect setting for both casual lunches and celebratory dinners. It’s easy to see why Poco Deli has become a neighborhood favorite: whether it’s catching up with friends, enjoying a long lunch with co-workers, or indulging in a comforting dinner, the space is as inviting as the food itself.
More Than a Deli
Poco Deli is a destination where heritage meets the plate. Each dish, whether a hand-smoked rib or a freshly baked dessert, carries the care and passion of its founders. Visiting Poco Deli isn’t just about eating, it’s about experiencing a legacy, savoring tradition, and enjoying meat that’s crafted the way it should be.
