Adidas has officially partnered with Proudrace, the Manila-based independent label founded by designer Rik Rasos, to launch its first-ever global collaboration with a Filipino brand. The capsule, dropping on November 21, features two graphic tees and a revamped Adidas Jabbar Lo—each piece infused with Filipino nostalgia and cultural storytelling.

The collection draws heavily from childhood memories and iconic visual cues from Filipino life: vintage postcards, postage stamps, balikbayan culture, and familiar scenes from a Filipino household. The standout brown suede Jabbar Lo carries postcard-style graphics on the tongue and the iconic three stripes worked into lace, blending heritage sportswear with deeply personal design details.
For Rasos, the collaboration is a milestone not only for Proudrace but for the entire local fashion community. He shares that stepping into this partnership meant channeling moments from his own upbringing—wooden floors, the warmth of his grandmother’s home, and the enduring spirit of “Mabuhay.” These references now take the global spotlight through Adidas’ platform.
He describes the project as a representation of Filipino talent’s evolving place in global fashion. “With persistence and heart, we can stand proudly among the best,” Rasos said, highlighting what this partnership symbolizes for Filipino creatives everywhere.
