Two months after the first 'Baha sa Luneta' protest, the fight against corruption surges back to Luneta Park on November 30, 2025. Kilusang Bayan Kontra Kurakot (KBKK) says the rally is urgent: government officials linked to corruption scandals still haven’t been held accountable.

Marching for Justice, One Step at a Time

At a November 19 press conference, KBKK praised Filipinos for staying vocal after the September 21 nationwide rallies. Teddy Casiño of Bagong Alyansang Makabayan reminded the public that protests will continue until those responsible face justice, referencing President Marcos Jr.’s promise that those tied to the flood control scandal would go to jail before Christmas.

The main event, dubbed Baha sa Luneta 2.0, kicks off at 9 a.m., with groups from different sectors marching to Luneta. Meanwhile, anti-corruption actions are expected across the country. In Quezon City, the “Trillion Peso March” coincides with Andres Bonifacio’s birth anniversary, symbolizing the fight to free the nation—not from foreign rulers, but from a corrupt system.

Voices from the movement are clear: Danilo Ramos of Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas says protests will continue until real change happens. UP Diliman Student Council chair Joaquin Buenaflor highlights the vital role of youth in uniting Filipinos against corruption. Kabataan Party-list Rep. Renee Co adds that kickbacks and graft drain taxpayers’ money, shortchanging public services.

Peaceful but Powerful

Organizers are taking safety seriously. After past incidents, marshaling and briefings have been conducted to ensure the rally stays peaceful. Casiño assures the public: this protest is about accountability, not chaos.

Filipinos are ready to flood Luneta once again, demanding justice and systemic change.
