Alliance Global Group Inc. (AGI) posted a stronger financial performance in the first quarter of 2026, reporting a 6-percent increase in net income to P7.8 billion.
The company said the growth was driven by the continued resilience of its core businesses, including property development, liquor manufacturing, tourism, and quick-service restaurants. AGI remains one of the country’s largest conglomerates, with a wide portfolio of businesses serving millions of Filipinos nationwide.
According to the company, consolidated revenues also saw modest growth during the quarter as consumer demand and tourism-related activity continued to recover.
Core Businesses Continue to Drive Growth
Alliance Global is the parent company behind several major Philippine brands and businesses, including Megaworld Corporation, Emperador Inc., and McDonald's Philippines through Golden Arches Development Corp.
Its property arm, Megaworld, continued to benefit from residential sales, office leasing, and township developments, while Emperador maintained strong demand both locally and internationally for its liquor products. The group’s tourism and hospitality businesses also contributed to the company’s positive first-quarter results amid improving travel activity.
