For three days this February, Circuit Makati becomes the epicenter of Philippine contemporary art. From February 6 to 8, the 13th edition of Art Fair Philippines showcases the country’s most dynamic local and international galleries, presenting everything from bold emerging voices to celebrated masters.

Visitors can expect a spectrum of works by artists such as Manuel Ocampo, Janice Luison-Young, and ESL Chen. With multiple floors dedicated to diverse artistic expressions, the fair turns the city into a vibrant, multi-layered gallery experience.

ArtFairPH/Projects: Where Art Sparks Conversation

The heart of the fair, ArtFairPH/Projects, occupies the sixth floor and features thought-provoking, large-scale works that go beyond “art for sale.” Highlights include Max Balatbat’s “Kapilya”, a three-dimensional chapel reflecting faith at the edges of everyday life, and Ged Unson Merino’s “The Journey is Home”, which uses mosquito nets to explore themes of isolation and protection. Guests can also experience interactive works by Brenda V. Fajardo, including illustrated tarot cards that they can try themselves.

Galleries and Featured Artists

Other floors showcase a variety of galleries and styles:

  • Cartellino presents Allan Balisi, Kiko Escora, Cian Dayrit, and Mark Salvatus
  • Art Agenda features global icons like Yayoi Kusama and Takashi Murakami, alongside Filipino masters Ronald Ventura, Elmer Borlongan, Arturo Luz, and BenCab

  • Core Contemporary, Yod Gallery, and J Studio offer vibrant, playful, and immersive works
  • The 11th floor honors Kidlat Tahimik through pieces by his students, friends, and family

A Celebration of Culture

The fair also includes ArtFairPH/Digital, showcasing animation and technology-driven works, and ArtFairPH/Talks, where artists, curators, and cultural workers lead discussions on creativity and collecting—making the experience richer even for first-time visitors.

Before the main event, 10 Days of Art activated the streets of Makati with installations, pop-ups, and creative interventions, bringing art outside gallery walls and into public spaces.
