The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) is bringing the country’s most beloved festivals to your mailbox with the release of a vibrant new stamp collection. Designed to celebrate the color, culture, and energy of the Philippines, the commemorative stamps feature four major festivals known for their lively spirit and deep cultural roots.

Festivals Come to Life in Every Stamp

Each stamp in the collection highlights one of the country’s iconic celebrations: Davao City's Kadayawan Festival, Baguio City's Panagbenga Festival, Bulacan's Singkaban Festival, and Cebu City's Sinulog Festival. The illustrations, created by PHLPost’s own graphic artist Jose Antonio A. Jayme, are rich in detail and full of life—showcasing traditional costumes, festive colors, and cultural symbols that reflect the unique personality of each event.

PHLPost printed 10,000 copies of the stamps in blocks of four, priced at P16 each. They're now available for purchase at the Manila Central Post Office Post Shop in Liwasang Bonifacio. A limited-edition souvenir sheet is also part of the release, perfect for stamp collectors or anyone who wants a piece of Filipino culture in their hands.

A Colorful Launch in the Heart of Manila

The official launch took place on April 25, 2025, at Lucky Chinatown Mall in Binondo, drawing collectors, cultural enthusiasts, and curious mallgoers alike. The unveiling was more than just a postal release—it was a celebration in itself, with displays that echoed the energy of the festivals featured. The event served as a reminder of how stamps can connect people to culture in unexpected ways.

Preserving Culture Through Philately

For Postmaster General Luis D. Carlos, the project is about more than just mailing letters—it’s about telling stories. “It is a great honor to celebrate these festivals not only in parades and performances but also in our unique way, through commemorative stamps and philatelic frames that preserve these moments in time and share their stories across the country and around the world,” he shared.
