Event organizers have announced that the much-anticipated Electric Fun Music Festival, which included the reunion of Eraserheads, has been moved to October 18.

The festival was rescheduled to "make the experience even more memorable," according to a social media post by the organizers. It was originally planned for May 31 at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City.

“We know how much everyone has been looking forward to the Electric Fun — and we are, too! In our effort to ensure that this much-awaited music festival is as epic as it can be, we have decided to move it to a later date,” the organizers wrote.

What led to the delay

The event was postponed following frontman Ely Buendia's declaration on April 6 that guitarist Marcus Adoro would no longer be performing, due to resurfaced sexual abuse allegations,.

Despite the change in schedule, all previously purchased tickets will still be valid.

Iconic list

The Electric Fun Music Festival will feature an extended set by the Eraserheads, along with performances on top of a mix of seasoned and emerging OPM acts.

It includes The Itchyworms, Moonstar88, Basti Artadi, Dong Abay Music Organization, Imago, Blaster, Carousel Casualties, ALYSON, Party Pace, Pinkmen, Sa Vie, and General Luna.

Initially unveiled at the Eraserheads: Combo on the Run documentary premiere in March, the band themselves chose the festival roster and conceived the event.
