Grab, Move It Roll Out Fuel Discounts, Cash Boosts for Drivers Amid Price SurgeAs fuel prices continue to climb, ride hailing and delivery platforms Grab and Move It are stepping in with added support for their driver and rider partners.
The goal is simple which is to help ease rising operating costs while keeping earnings steady for those who rely on daily trips.
Staying On The Road
To provide immediate relief, both platforms are offering fuel discounts through partner gas stations. Drivers can save up to P4 per liter at participating locations such as Seaoil, Caltex, and select Blu Energy stations. For many, this means lower daily expenses and a bit more breathing room on the road.
On top of these discounts, Grab is rolling out additional savings through its Shell Fuel Card program. Qualified drivers can receive rebates of up to P3 per liter, with cashback credited directly to their accounts. This extra layer of support helps stretch fuel budgets further, especially during weeks when pump prices spike.
The assistance does not stop at fuel. Grab is also introducing incentives designed to boost overall earnings. GrabCar drivers may benefit from commission rebates and per trip cashback during peak hours, while GrabFood riders receive an added P3 for every completed delivery nationwide. These small but consistent boosts can add up over the course of a full day on the road.
Meanwhile, Move It is launching its Power Pasada program to support motorcycle taxi riders. The initiative includes fuel assistance and additional incentives during high demand periods, helping riders better manage their daily costs while continuing to serve commuters.
Support Amid Rising Fuel Costs
These efforts come at a time when global supply issues continue to drive fuel prices higher, putting pressure on drivers across the country. By combining discounts, rebates, and incentives, Grab and Move It are offering practical ways to help their partners stay on the road.
Both companies say this is only the beginning, with more support measures expected as conditions continue to evolve. For now, these programs provide timely relief for drivers navigating the impact of rising fuel costs.
