Megaworld’s Uptown Bonifacio continues to draw multinational companies as Mead Johnson Nutrition Philippines moves its headquarters to the district, reinforcing Megaworld Corporation’s standing in the country’s office leasing sector. The transfer highlights the growing preference among global firms for integrated business environments that combine efficiency, accessibility, and modern infrastructure.
As part of the move, Mead Johnson will align its local operations with Reckitt Philippines, its United Kingdom-based parent company behind brands such as Lysol, Strepsils, and Durex. The consolidation is expected to streamline operations and support closer coordination across its business units in the Philippines.

Global Firms Flock to Integrated Business District
Megaworld’s Uptown Bonifacio has steadily evolved into a hub for international companies, offering a mix of office spaces, residential developments, and commercial establishments within a single township. This setup allows businesses to operate within a self-contained environment while providing convenience for employees.
“Uptown Bonifacio continues to attract the world’s biggest companies because it offers a complete ecosystem for success—modern office developments complemented by a vibrant commercial district and topnotch residential condominium towers,” Megaworld Global Offices head Francis Roxas said.
Mead Johnson will occupy Uptown Eastgate, a 31-story office tower with LEED Gold certification, reflecting Megaworld’s focus on sustainable and high-performance developments. The building is designed to accommodate large enterprises with expansive and efficient floor layouts.
Demand for Large-Scale Office Space Remains Strong
Uptown Eastgate provides around 100,000 square meters of leasable space, with wide floor plates suited for corporate tenants requiring flexible and scalable office configurations. The design caters to the needs of multinational firms and large organizations.
Megaworld recorded P14.9 billion in office leasing revenues in 2025, marking steady growth driven by continued interest from BPO companies and global firms. The figures reflect sustained demand for premium office developments despite evolving workplace trends.
BGC Continues to Attract Multinational Tenants
Bonifacio Global City remains one of the country’s leading business hubs, with Uptown Bonifacio alone hosting dozens of multinational and local companies. The district supports a large workforce spread across several office towers, contributing to its role as a key economic center.
Megaworld maintains a strong presence in BGC, managing a substantial portion of the district’s office inventory. The ongoing entry of international firms further solidifies its position as a preferred location for corporate operations in Metro Manila.
Integrated Townships Drive Long-Term Growth
The continued expansion of global companies in the Philippines underscores the appeal of township developments that combine workspaces with residential and lifestyle components. Such environments allow businesses to operate efficiently while offering added convenience for employees, supporting long-term demand for premium office spaces.
